Tuż po wyjściu z samolotu na amerykańskiej ziemi dosłownie czujesz, że znalazłeś się w innym świecie. Tu wszystko jest większe, z rozmachem, a jednocześnie z miejscem dla Ciebie! Tu widać, że ludzie naprawdę wierzą, że Bóg ich stworzył do wielkich rzeczy. Nie chcą, jak w zlewaczałej Europie, ograniczać marzeń i aspiracji człowieka, ale dążą do ich uwolnienia i wzmocnienia. Tam po prostu czujesz, że Ameryka to wciąż kraj wielkich możliwości.
Druga obserwacja – tam nikt nie ogląda się na pomoc państwa, 500+, Mieszkanie+, Flaszka+ itp. To dla normalnego Amerykanina obce frazesy… Kiedy tam jesteś, bardzo szybko udziela Ci się myślenie, że nie jesteś trybikiem w machinie, nie jesteś częścią szarej masy, ale że jesteś cudownie i szczególnie stworzony przez Boga, żeby dokonać czegoś wielkiego. To tam około 50 lat temu jeden pastor zapalił ludzi do marzenia, że zbudują największy uniwersytet w chrześcijańskim świecie. Bóg dał błogosławieństwo. To marzenie się spełniło! Pastor Jerry Falwell mógł to oglądać jeszcze za swojego życia. Think big and trust the Lord!

Freedom and the importance of an individual!
As soon as you get off a plane in America, you can virtually feel you’ve entered another world. Everything’s bigger there and made on a grand scale yet, at the same time, respecting your personal space. You can see American people really believe to have been created for greater things. They don’t want to follow the leftist Europe in the pursuit of limiting people’s dreams and aspirations. On the contrary, Americans strive to free and strengthen the human potential. You can feel it in the American air it’s a country of great opportunities.
Another remark. Nobody counts on state benefits, whatever they might be. An average American sees such benefits as foreign-sounding platitudes. In America you’re soon infected with the thinking that you’re not a mere cog in a machine or part of an ordinary crowd. You feel like somebody special, amazingly created by God to achieve great things here. The “American Dream” is not dead yet. You couldn’t imagine a better example of the triumph of an individual over circumstances and overwhelming inertia than that of the Liberty University where my daughter Kornelia and I had a pleasure to give short lectures to students. About 50 years ago a pastor mobilized people to have a dream of building the largest Christian university in the whole world. God gave His blessing to the dream and it finally came true. Pastor Jerry Falwell lived long enough to see that with his own eyes. Think big and trust the Lord!
